Baked Salmon Marinade

If you don’t have a lot of time to prepare an elaborate meal read on for this easy, quick salmon marinade.   Easy marinated, baked salmonOriginally I found this recipe on budget savvy diva, but have adapted after making it a couple times.  On those days that I’m short on time, I just whip up the ingredients, stick it in the oven and serve with some heated Green Giant steamer packed veggies.   I used dried ingredients for this recipe but if you have fresh on hand, I’m sure it would taste even better.

  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of dill
  • 1 teaspoon of minced onion
  • 2 salmon fillets

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, allowing salmon to marinade (can be marinated for hours ahead of time)

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Place each salmon coated with leftover marinade for extra flavor on a foil sheet, folding into a neat packet
  • Bake in the oven until tender and flaky ~ 20 minutes and serve with your favorite veggies.
